About Us

The Youth Vascular Consortium is an ongoing international collaborative effort that was established by researchers from the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in Melbourne, Australia.

The Consortium has been developed to collate data related to the measurement of vascular ageing in children, adolescents, and young adults (aged 5 to 40 years old) so that scientists can pursue research in vascular ageing in early life, with the hope this will lead to preventing adverse cardiovascular events later in life.
